Map View: a fibre network in Colchester, in 3D

A synthetic fibre network on the town centre's real streets. The grid holds one row per route vertex (latitude, longitude, sequence) and one row per cabinet or splice; the map assembles the routes from those rows, coloured by status (live, planned, backbone) and dashed when proposed, under the buildings, with the cabinets and splices as icons over them. Filter or search the grid and the map follows; select a row and the map flies to it; click a route or an icon and the grid selects its rows.
